Cabin Types
All cabins on board NorthLink Ferries ships are built with your comfort in mind. They are modern, clean and fully equipped with en-suite washbasin, toilet and shower facilities. All cabins are now equipped with an individual temperature control and tea & coffee-making facilities.
You can reserve a cabin for exclusive use or, under our sharing scheme, book a berth only at a very reasonable price.
Two-berth outside
A large window, providing natural light, gives a spacious feel to these cabins. They have two comfortable fixed beds, positioned side by side.
Executive
Our recently introduced executive cabins provide a little more space with a practical work desk, ideal for business travellers. These cabins are specially fitted with upper and lower bunks.
Premium
Another new addition, these two-berth outside cabins are equipped with satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary shortbread and mineral waters.
Four-berth inside
With two lower fixed berths and two pull down bunks accessed by a fitted ladder, these cabins are great for families and visitors travelling in groups. Please note - inside cabins do not have windows.
Four-berth with TV
A four-berth equipped with a TV means that you watch satellite television or plug in your games console for in-cabin entertainment. Please note - inside cabins do not have windows.
Purpose-built cabins for those with restricted mobility
These are two and three berth cabins, that are generally more spacious, with easy access doors, bed hoists, toilet and shower facilities and assistance alarms. There are only a limited number of these cabins on each ship so an early enquiry is recommended. Please note - these cabins do not have windows.
Cabin share scheme – buy a berth rather than a whole cabin
For those happy to share either an outside or inside cabin with other travellers of the same gender, booking a berth rather than a cabin is a low cost option with prices starting from £19.50. We simply ask that those choosing this option show consideration for their fellow travellers. Infants cannot be booked into shared cabins and we would request that those wishing to book young
children into shared cabins show appropriate consideration to fellow cabin passengers.

Reclining chairs
For passengers choosing to travel without overnight accommodation, the ticket price can include access to our recliner lounge. Please book seats with your travel. Blankets and pillows can be hired from the Northern Isles Shop on board, for £3 with a £5 deposit.
